The project is about the renovation and upgrade of Mandrino Hotel located in the historical center of Thessaloniki.

The main design direction is dictated by the need for functional upgrade of those spaces and is mainly achieved by their unification and the addition of extra floor space (integration of adjacent store).

The project includes new rooms, whose design balances between the current character and aesthetics of the existing spaces and a dynamic design with the potential of application in several other spaces and floors of the hotel.

The wide openings along the exterior room wall, opens them towards the city, widening their visual perception.

The materials used are metal and wood, combined with green and pink tones of fabric for the furnishing, as well as specially processed bronze, oak wood in natural color, volakas marble, terrazzo tiles in green and off-white pigments.
